Meet-and-Greet Community Program for New Chino Homeowners

Two families will receive Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity houses on 10th Street between B and C streets once construction is finished later this year.

Construction won't begin until the summer at the earliest, Chino housing program manager Chris Corbin said. Even though Habitat has the land, building plans must still go through the approval process from the city.

$327,000 Street Improvements in Los Serranos Neighborhood Chino Hills

The City Council has agreed to spend $327,000 for improvements to streets, sidewalks, storm drains, curbs and gutters in the Los Serranos area of the city.

Lois Burdett, who has Chino Hills Home rental properties in that neighborhood, said she has some concerns about the next phase of improvements because of problems with the first phase.
